Aegean is recognizing the importance of environmental protection, nowadays in particular, and for this reason, it has defined and documented an Environmental Management System, that fully serves its needs and complies with the requirements of ISO 14001, International Standard. The System covers company sites and business activities in the area of loading, transportation, storage and distribution of fuels.
Within the frame of the Environmental Management System,
the Administration of the company commits to the followings:
Will always operate according to the environmental laws and regulations
Will assess and review its environmental targets and objectives under the frame of the proactive environmental protection
Will minimize the risk of environmental incidents that regard its activities, and will be in position to have response procedures in place, in case of such events.
Will provide information that regards its environmental performance to its personnel, as well as, to external interested parties.
Will cooperate with customers, contractors, providers and partners aiming at the fostering of the environmental protection
Will promote personnel training in fields that will encourage the adaption and implementation of the present Environmental Policy.
